Security & Trust

Private and secure by design.

Aide was built for firms that handle sensitive, confidential work — campaigns, clients, and causes that can’t afford a leak or a mix-up. Protecting your data, and your clients’ data, isn’t a feature we added later. It’s how the platform is put together from the ground up. Here’s what that means in plain terms.

Isolation & access

Every client and team is walled off from every other.

Access is checked on every single request, so people only ever reach the information they're permitted to see. If your firm works for clients whose interests conflict, your teams can operate side by side in one platform without any risk of cross-contamination — think of it as client-level firewalls built into the way data moves. Permissions are granular, too: access is controlled by role and can be set item by item, so it's never all-or-nothing. The right people see the right things, and no one sees more than they should.

Authentication & accounts

Only the right people get in — and only the way you intend.

Getting into Aide requires authenticated access protected by secure, signed sessions, modern password protection, and limits that block repeated login attempts. Two-factor authentication is available for an added layer of protection. Joining an organization is governed by invitation — unknown accounts can't quietly attach themselves to your firm's workspace. You control who's in.

Your data — protected and yours

Encrypted, private, and never used to train AI.

Your information is encrypted while it travels to and from Aide, and uploaded files and documents are encrypted at rest in secure cloud storage. Just as important: we don't train AI models on your data. Your work, your clients, and your strategy are never fed into model training — full stop. And you stay in control of how long anything sticks around: retention is configurable, and deletion is recoverable, so you decide what's kept and for how long.

Oversight & control

See what happened, and approve what matters.

Aide keeps an audit trail of agent activity — a record of who ran what, and when — so there's always a clear picture of how work got done. And for sensitive or automated steps, Aide can require explicit human approval before anything acts on your behalf. Automation moves fast, but you keep your hand on the wheel.
